SUMBOX 1602MS
The SUMBOX 1602 MS is an active summing amplifier.
It was designed as a set-and-forget final stage of a hybrid mixing studio. Outside of the Mono/Stereo selection buttons, there are no other controls on the device - this is by design. The idea is to use the SUMBOX as the final piece of your recording chain and ensure recallability between sessions - your DAW will provide this recall.
The SUMBOX1602MS mixes upto 16 inputs into 2 pairs of stereo outputs. The input is divided into 2 banks: The first 8 channels are assignable as 4 stereo inputs, or 8 mono channels (assigned mono/stereo as pairs 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8), the second 8 channels are permenantly assigned to 4 stereo pairs. There are 2 sets of outputs providing flexibility without output routing. One can feed a recorder to capture the mix, while the other can feed a monitor controller, the second output if the SUMBOX is used as a bus can be used to feed parallel processing as well.
The SUMBOX is designed using the same high quality line recievers in all of our products, the highest quality polypropolene and audio grade electrolytic capacitors, metal film resistors (hand measured and matched, where required), and discrete operational amplifiers for the combining amplifiers.
