The 462K 10-Band Equalizer is a graphic, fixed band, proportional Q design.  This means that as you increase the boost or cut of a particular frequency the Q adjusts from a broad to narrow.  It gives you alternate fixed EQ points of 40/60/80/200/400/600/1.5K/3K/5K/10K.  The frequency spread was established with EQing Kick drums in mind.  You can add boom, thump, dig out mud and add punch and clarity with this EQ.  It's also great on bass, electric guitars and keyboards.

Polypropolene/Polystrene film capacitors

Audio-grade Electrolytic capacitors in the signal path and Low ESR for power

1% metal film resistors

THAT 1200-series input reciever with 90dB CMRR at 60Hz

Burr-Brown Op-amp in the gyrator circuit

Custom USA made Nickel/Steel OutputTransformer

Custom centre-detent slide-potentiometers with the centre LED illuminating to indicate operation
