The Loudener Setup

This information applies to all models of The Loudener.  If you require specific guidance please see the User Manuals at the bottom of this page.

STEP 1:

Remove the Loudener from the box.  Inspect it for shipping damage.  If any is noted, reach out immediately to info@607audio.com

STEP 2:

Connect your dynamic or ribbon microphone to the Loudener's XLR jack labelled 'MIC'.

STEP 3:

Connect an XLR cable to the end of the Loudener labelled 'PRE'.  Connect the other end of this cable to your microphone preamp.

STEP 4:

Enable Phantom Power on your microphone preamp.  Once this done, adjust preamp gain as needed and start recording.
