500 Series Setup

This information applies to all 500 series equipment.  If you require specific guidance please see the User Manuals at the bottom of this page.

STEP 1:

Remove the module from the box and give it a quick visual inspection, paying specific attention to the op-amp.  Ensure that nothing was moved during shipping and that none of the legs of the resistors are touching.  If this is the case, gently pry them apart with a finger nail.

STEP 2:

Insert the module into an unpowered 500 series rack, making sure that it seats in the card-edge connector at the rear.  Once seated, fix the unit in place using 2 #4-40 screws provided.

STEP 3:

If not already done, connect the audio cables to the 500-series rack

STEP 4:

Power on the device and enjoy.
